MonelK400
Nickel-based alloys generally exhibit superior corrosion resistance compared to nickel-copper. They are more resistant to corrosion from reducing media than pure nickel and more resistant to oxidizing media than pure copper. They demonstrate excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and carbon. The Monel K400 nickel-based alloy variant mentioned above can be used in many of the same applications as its base alloy. Due to Monel K400's seawater resistance, it finds numerous applications in the marine industry.
